This is my big brother Mike. He takes after our dad and is a HUGE baseball fan. He and dad had Rockies seasons tickets the first year they were a team in Colorado. Dad used to be a bat boy for the Denver Bears (a pre-Rockies feeder team). Mike has taught his kids in the way of baseball fanaticism and has been bringing them to Spring Training in Arizona for years. Fun for us that this year they could stay at the Hotel Rhoads!

This is
Corina, who just married Jordan (not pictured, but he is darling!). She and Jordan and Jordan's brother came down from BYU for the week. We love Cor-bear!

Our foster sister, Sandy Lucas, who lives in Tucson, met us at the Rockies new stadium. It was fun to see Sandy and to catch up on her life. She is an amazing lady! And check out her son Aaron Tevas who is a
star football player for Boise State!

This was probably the coldest "Spring" Training game in the history of baseball. We might as well have been at Coors Field in Denver because it was like 20 degrees with drizzly rain. Look at us shivering! The Rockies were pounding on San Francisco and this photo was taken just as they hit a home run! I love Mike's reaction. Moments later the game was called for rain.

We didn't let the rain stop our fun - we headed to Smeeks Candy Store in Phoenix. I had seen it on Nie Nie's blog. It was a really cute little place with unique and retro candy.

Too bad the boys had no fun in the store!

We had a great time with our cousins and are looking forward to another visit next Spring!
